The grandparents' house, given back to those who grew up in it. The intervention began by listening closely to what the family wanted to keep — the layout of the rooms, the thickness of the walls, the light at certain hours — and added only what was needed for the house to be lived in every day again.
Rehabilitating a family house means working on material that already belongs to someone's memory. Here, every decision was measured against that: what stays because it is needed, what opens because the light asks for it, what is added without asking for attention.
